Hi everyone, I've read the tutorial to repin a lock, and I've been wondering if we could repin a CutAway lock like the one the sell on lockpickshop (http://www.lockpickshop.com/PCYX5RSP-SCH.html) or (http://www.lockpickshop.com/PCYX5RSP.html)... Also what's the difference between Shlange and Kwikset? only the quality? Also... when they say "Right Handed" it's becasue we lock pick from the right hand right? lol
I'd like to know if we can repin them because I'd like to follow db's guide where we need to put 1 pin then 2 pin then 3... etc and I don't want to buy 4 of their cutAway lock... once with each setup of pin, it would be too expensive!
(Also just as a side question... Canada locks are pick'able with standard tools? or Europe-SlimLines are better?) (The locks I'm looking foward to pick right now are master's padlock, the cutAway lock from lockpickshop or any other site... and a WeiserLock deadbolt that I will repin if the cutAway locks aren't repin'able)
PS: Could anyone give me a real-size lock tool? so I get an idea of how big they are, thanks!
PSS: What are the "essantial" tool in a set? I've started making a custom set from the option in "build your own set" on lockpickshop and I was wondering if I had too much... I got 8 type of pick/rake and 3 type of tension tools... (S rake, C rake, Long hook, Short hook, Ball end, Big diamond, small diamond, key extractor... double ended tension wrench, twisted tension wrench (a slimline and a standard one))
Thanks alot everyone for your help =)
