can any one tell me how i can defeat this lock before i end up using c4 on the bloody thing and has any one got some info on it cheers in advance, swifty.

Looks like just a dimple lock. Do a search on them and you will find quite a few resources on the forum. Usually you cnt pick them with normal picks but tools for them are made easily.

is it me or does that keyway look like Mul-t-lock Original?

I know that patent expired so everyone is making telescoping pin locks now.

Is that still considered a dimple lock? or a pin-in-pin dimple lock... hmm

where do you live so i know for postage and packaging and give me a price that i cant turn down and its yours!!! its very heavy and i would say its quite a hardcore lock to have!!!

there are a lot of lockpicking videos on You tube, most are crap about picking fourpin master stuff, but there are some where locks such as this are being picked, look for El Gorgon s videos, or wzlom or sochilons, these and some others may show you a similiar keyway being picked, its a good lock to have and if you are not impatient, you will eventually pick it, usually there are picks such as souber tools or the matador pick or that pick that someone is using on a multilock that appear to do it fairly quickly. some of these special picks you can make copies of yourself with just files, and some mini hacksaw blades or sweeperbristle metal stock.

It does look like a multilock keyway, but it also looks a bit like other european dimple keyways.

I forgot to mention that some of the videos show someone picking dimple locks with a deforest pick, if you have one, sand those sharp edges round before attemping it. if it becomes stuck, you will need to insert another hook to lift pins and free it.

Rai, I think the reason why it is called a deforester is because of the way it is shaped. Remember, you were talking about how you didn't understand why it was called that? Well it looks like something that you would use to de-forest an area. Like a shrub cutting tool.
