Greetings from South Carolina.
It had been about 10 years since I had picked anything when the other day, I just got the fever again. I'm proud to say I've picked every lock I bought in the past week with very little effort. I must be paying a LOT more attention now because I'm better after 10 years than I ever was before.
Anyone have suggestions for what I should get to play with next?
Here is the list of locks I've bought to play with this past week:
(1) Mountain Security (202-40011) <- I had to get a warded just to play with!
(2) Mountain Security (201-40001) [2 mins average]
(3) Brinks "Max" Security (101-50001) [3 minutes average]
(4) Master #3 (3KADLF) [less than a sec raking, 3-4 secs SPP]
(5) Master #5 (5KADPF) [ less than a sec raking, 3-4 secs SPP]
(6) Master #572 (572KADPF) <- I wanted one that was easy to do a cut-away with. [10-20secs SPP. I haven't tried raking it yet.]
I know that none of these are really all that hard to pick with the Brinks and Mountain Security being exponentially harder than the Master locks but, it is a start - especially for my old bones.
The Master locks are serious confidence builders. I'm glad I got the Mountain Security and Brinks locks first! After those, lots of locks seem very easy. Very little if ANY feedback from those two locks.
