If your like me you were addicted before you even tried it. Now it is a great hobby. But i got some nooby questions.whats the different between a padlock and an average american cylinder? And is it possible to pick a car door(america)?
1. You should not pick locks that are not yours or that are in use or that you have no permission for. The locks can break from picking, so I would advice to stay away from the door locks in your house. Better is that you go and buy one new lock cylinder, like Kwikset/Weiser, and try picking that. In the end it is repinnable so you can easily practice with it to become more proficient with picking
2. The difference is nothing, if both locks have the same cylinder. But as there are thousands of different door locks and thousands of different padlocks, there are variations.
3. And yes it is possible to pick a car door, but it is not to be talked on these open forums, as it is an advanced topic reserved for the advanced access area.
