What kind of picks are best?

I was looking a the forum that has the lock pick templates and was wondering which kind of picks are best you to use on door locks. I am new to lock picking and am going to start making my picks. Anyone have any advice. I just plan on making two.

First off, welcome to the site. Feel free to update your profile to include more information than just your login ID. Where are you from? What hobbies do you enjoy? Let us know!

This question is probably best answered in the FAQ under "The tools of the trade."

There's also a topic (referenced in the FAQ) that discusses this very question.

Between those two links, I think you'll find everything you're looking for.

skatertj,

Welcome to the site!

That's an awesome pic! but if you are going to use it as your current sig, it is much larger than what the forum rules stipulate. The max limit allowed is 500 pixels wide x 80 pixels tall.

something like this:
