Although it's true that we don't discuss picking Medeco locks in the public forum, and it's equally true that it's a generally bad idea to practice on locks that are currently in service, I'll add to the above by mentioning that the lock you were trying to pick is CRAZY HARD to pick in any conventional sense.
We're not talking "Boy, that's a tough lock" here. We're talking "Are you out of your stinkin' mind????"
Having said that, it's worth doing a bit of homework and seeing just what exactly is going on inside that lock you've got there, 'cause it's interesting to say the least. It's hard not to be impressed when you look at how a Medeco differs from a conventional pin tumbler lock... especially when you're new to this.
Mind you... I have a sneaking suspicion that the veil is coming off the Medeco locks in the very near future... but we'll just have to wait for that.
