I am a Emergency Services Operator, boosting, changing tires and especially opening opening vehicles. The part I like the most is opening vehicles. I open on average 10 a day. I have begun to pick a few vehicles that are tougher to unlock with door tools. Find it more enjoyable to move the lock without a key almost invigorating. I enjoy the challenge.

I am Welder/Machinist by trade and find lock picking enjoyable mostly I gather because it is new to me. I wish I had started this trade first. I found this site with referral's from other sites. A vast amount of information here. I hope I can get into the Automotive section before long. Keep up the good work excellent site.

Postby dumbybean » 23 Aug 2008 7:54

Greetings everyone!
I found myself in need of a new hobby seeing as how I am now stuck in the middle east for 15 months. I ordered a practice lock and a pick set today. I can start playing around with that in a few weeks when it shows up in the mail  I look foward to that and getting to learn from what you guys have to offer here.

Hello, I'm a college student from the southern United States looking to pick up a new hobby. I hope to stick around, unlike the majority of newbies.

Hey folks,

I am a total newbie, first picked locks with paper clips that my step brother taught me while we were in the underground tunnels of Cal tech (Many years ago, we then went and watched Terminator 2 in the theater, he was my guardian for the rated R flick, LOL).

I'm looking forward to learning more, I've always wanted to pursue picking as a hobby and of course if the zombies attack....

My name is Chris, and I am a new member to these forums. I am a Marine, and bypassing and covert entry are part of my "trade", and the reason for me joining this forum. I pick and bypass in my day to day work, and am always up for learning new techniques and information. Looking forward to this forum. Best to all.

Hello,
Just joined today. I'm a geologist but have always been interested in lock picking. I came across this site and figured I would join. I'm looking forward to learning more about lock picking and would like to know if there are any clubs in or around Pittsburgh Pa.
