I have 4 entries...
We had one lost in the mail, who has received an extension as a result, so hopefully that will make for 5, and I know a 6th is on it's way presently.
I've been dealing with some moving issues (ended up having to get a storage unit / crash with friends, bleh) and will send out the meeting email to all the TOOOL Boston crew on the 31st (Sunday) so that we can organize a day to get together to judge the picks.
Personally - I am inclined to allow any pick that arrives before TOOOL Boston actually sit down to do the picking into the competition, late to the submission deadline or not. We have (maybe!) 6 of 18 submissions at the moment.
The list:
1. Locknewbie21
2. ToolyMcgee
3. djslacker
4. criminalhate
5. Olson Burry
6. jk_the_cjer
7. Legion303
8. Gibraltar
9. ady1989
10. ratyoke
11. jamesphilhulk2
12. ArtKRP
13. Brianpojo56
[s]14. steve0527[/s]
15. Cheesehead
[s]16. Kaotik[/s]
17. David_Parker
18. Freakparade3
Bold are people who's picks are sitting in the contest box next to me here. Struck through are people who have officially stepped out of the competition (if I missed any, please let me know) and italicized are folks who have already been granted an extension, Brian because his pick is somewhere in the USPS and Tooly because none of us realized that the 31st was a Sunday and then Labor day followed - which was poor timing organizationally, so his pick is in the mail.
Anyway - a lot of folks haven't submitted or posted their intentions yet. I'm hoping more pour in, but I'm going to schedule the TOOOL Meeting for as soon as everyone can get together after the 31st, as I don't want to leave anyone in suspense here.
Also - I will start posting photos and details of all of the picks submitted on the 1st so the community can deliberate the other 2 categories (innovation and style), though we'll hold off voting until the day of the TOOOL Meeting, just in case any late entries make it through in time.
Sound good to everyone?
MAKE THOSE PICKS!
