I discovered lockpicking just a few days ago and immediatly I started collecting street cleaning bristles and wiper blades. I also started filing... Hope to be back soon with photos and news.

New guy here, just picked up some tools off craigslist. Always had an interest in lockpicking, just never had the time until now.
Name's Gary but my friends call me G. See ya on the boards.

As if I didn't already have enough expensive/time consuming hobbies, here I am! My son handed me a Master combination padlock and asked me if I could figure out the combination. I thought that he had forgotten it so I set out to give it a try. Believing that I can find anything on the internet, I did a few quick searches and had the lock open in about 10 minutes. My boy was impressed with his all-knowing father and I had fun so I read a few more sites and figured out the "reverse combination for the lock and showed him that too. I think that this lock picking thing could become addictive!

Greetings. I am both new to the forum and the hobby. I've always wanted to learn how to open up locks, just for fun, but was always worried about the legality of the hobby and owning the tools. After reading an article today about hobbyist and how it is legal I immediately decided to jump in. Thanks for the forum, the newbie guides and just being there to help new enthusiasts. ~ daisu

Hello everyone!
I just got interested by lockpicking one week ago. I managed to open simple locks, modified by myself, containing 2 or 3 pins, but still I lack skill to open the real one - I hope I'll find some tips here.
English is not my first language, so I'll be probably making some mistakes, just wanted to let You know

Just signed up. Made my first set of picks yesterday, bought and mounted some practice locks. Looking forward to a lot more fun with them! The girlfriend even likes to do it!
