Hi im a new lock picker and i was wondering how many spools pins does the medium security brinks lock have its smallish i think its 1 and one fouth ince or one and 1 half inch thanks for your help
Also depends on what you define as a "spool" Some of them have what are sometimes called "sporrated" pin, which are more commonly found on American (the brand) locks. (Serrated at the top and bottom, spool in the middle... <insert mullet jokes here>)
brinks high security lock have spool pins also pin 1 2 and 4. takes a a min to open but if you get lock raking motion you can hit it and open it in 3 seconds
from what i know they mostly have 3 spools. in the 1st, 3rd, and 4th positions. set the 2nd to get a false set then pick the rest of them. they should give a lot of feed back. i know some one thats had about 10 of these locks and they're all the same. i've only had one but it's the same too.
