the stock you refer to is the old lishi picks , most of which are getting outdated and have been superceded by the new 2 in 1 picks, even the lishi picks have had to be updated.
So as previously stated my understanding is that tradelocks have no influence over the old tools stocked by the chinese suppliers, only over new products , so you will still see the old stuff sold by these as cannot be controlled , but outdated to all that buy them.
you really need to email them about this , as they now own the name and the trademark lishi, so may be able to do something, talk to them.

The reasons are not long winded , but include;
1) depth of skills taught are far greater
2) more advanced courses and subjects covered
3) all skills covered on one course or another
4) the depth of knowledge and time proven skills of the instructors
5) the fully equipped training centers
There are for more courses for members than you see advertised , the training is longer and more thorough , they cover all skills and not just entry , the instructors are some of the proven biggest names in the industry , and at the end of it the exam is actually worth something and means something worldwide.
ICL are working to this , but mla are already there.
no one can learn an entire trade in days , and without the training in the service skills and traditional non opening skills , many will suffer as its the entry market thats been flooded not the specialist skills area of the business.
