I was in the barnes and noble bookstore, and looked at a book about the CIA technical services dept. there were a lot of old anecdotes about the old days when they were rigging cameras with ducttape and bubble gum. and stories about how they found the cavity resonator that was planted in the US moscow embassy in the 1946 and discovered in 1954, and how all their 'high tech' bugs were not more than what a few guys could cook up with parts from radioshack.
The index mentioned two references to lockpicking, just two mentions on two pages, they said that the CIA dosent do lockpicking because its "an art". They tend to rely on coopting someone who can get them a copy of the key. That sort of thing.
Also the FBI's lockpicking guy, the one who was busted opening the FBI employees credit union safe in the headquarters I forgot this guys name but theres an article on him in the blackbag by barry wels. a few years back.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
