Im new in this forum, i live in Switzerland and 27years old. Im pretty new to lockpicking, I introduced myself in the intro section.
I checked all through your site but i coulnt find any infos on KESO locks. KESO & KABA are spread over switzerland and I realised those locks have pins on the right/left and upper side. I read a lot about the techniques of picking locks and about how each mechanism works, but never came across this KESO system.
Is it even possible to pick those locks?? Do I need any special picks for this? The one Im trying on is the one on our cellar-door, its a KESO 2000s Omega.
Funny is, before I knew that much about the different lock mechanism, i tried with a tension wrench and a normal hook pick....I didnt realise the pins on the sides but after i pressed the pins on the upper side, the lock opened. But I could turn the tension wrench only for 90 degrees. After this I couldnt insert the key anymore. Something blocked it, then i picked it back to the position it was before and I could insert the key again. How could this be possible?? I only set the pins on the upper side, but i could open it. I also made my own snapgun, one snap, and it was open, but I couldnt repeat that anymore.
Maybe my newbie questions sound stupid to you but Im really curious about this. Also if somebody has a link of a KESO System pick tutorial, please msg me.
I hope to become a good member of the community.
(sorry for my english)
