Hi, I live in Poland) My name is Matthew. Lockpicking takes some time already:) Very cool thing in the case of slamming the keys. Not yet opened any common locks;)

I greet all the members, moderators, administrators of the forum!

Hi all,

I'm a new user, too. Complete LPing novice but excited to learn. We occasionally hire locksmiths and I've always been curious while watching them work. I'm ordering picks this week from LPS.com and gonna get practicing. Looking forward to learning from, and contributing to this site.

Thanks!

Which other sections? The Advanced sections? If so, this may be a good link for you. :)

Good evening!
I have been involved with lock picking as a hobby for a long time. My father is a lock smith and I have found the hobby very useful as a mechanic as well. I've lurked around the site several times when I needed some particular info to advance my expertise and I must say that my questions never went without an answer. Thanks for the help even if I can only now respond. And I will make sure I post some of my own observations and tools to further the hobby/profession

I have have been lurking for several weeks.
I have been reading and (hopefully) learning much on the art and sport of lock picking. I just placed my order for the Southord MPXS-11 pick set. I will be visiting the local discount and hardware stores in the coming days to pick up a lockset, and remove all the pins except one and begin practicing.

I am a police officer in a major U.S. city and have decided to learn about picking, bumping and security in general. I can't tell you how many times we encounter locked doors that we have a lawful need to get into...and quickly. I'm planning on learning all I can so that in times of emergency I'll have the skills needed to quickly bypass a lock.

This is a great site and I plan to learn a lot.
