Safe-lock, ID please?

Postby lock-ed » 19 Nov 2010 2:25

First, I know safe-locks belong in the advanced section, but I am not disussing how to open it, simply asking for ID. Hope that is not in conflict with the rules :?:

I have come across two data-safes, made by Bössinger, Germany. One is open, and contains this lock. The other is locked(lost key), and I would like to open it. The locks are most likely of same model, but I have been unable to identify it yet. However, I have been tipped that it might be a LAMPERTZ, but not knowing which model. I plan to either pick it with a 2-1, or decode it :D

Sorry about the blurry image,

The cap off would help.

I would guess Stuv at first glance.

Thx for your reply, will post pictures tomorrow. Also, the key resembles a STUV.

Again, thx,
will be back shortly.

This is an upside down-picture, but should give an idea of what the levers look like.

As mentioned, the head of the key resembles a STUV.

thx in advance,
Ed

Here is a shot of the internals, as well as the head of the key. It looks very much like my STUV.keys.

Good inputs are very welcome :D

Al,
thank you very much for your information :D

Planning to make a decoder and variable key for it.

Will post further progress in the advanced forum, if I get access later on.

Thx again,
Ed
