I've searched youtube and here on LP101 endlessly.
"jittery" "panicky" " too much coffee" and even "being "blanked" off by a person with epilepsy" don't even begin to describe anything really.
My version of epilepsy and yours might be different things.
A "rounded" motion or a "nervous" motion did help me to learn but they are still quite vague.
Maybe one of you fine people would make a video.
A guy can only hope.
Just the same, thank you for your post.
I know how easy it can be to miss things that got caught up in the shuffle around here.
This is going to be a case of finding what works for you. Watching a video of me or Schuyler jiggling a Bogota won't let you now how much tension were holding on the wrench, or if you're wobbling the wrench from light to medium tension or how high we're lifting the pins. I don't want to get all zen on this, but it is something you will learn by doing over time and only if you imagine what is going on inside the lock as you're doing it. It may take you months or years to get good with Bogotas.. A youtube video won't make you an expert in a week. My personal method is raking back and fourth, in an oval motion, like the piston of an old timey locomotive moves to drive the front wheels.
Know what changes the pin angles on a Medeco lock very well? the 3 hump Bogota =)
good luck and keep practicing,
