You set two or more in front of yourself then just look for the pretty one.
When you find it, choose that one.

You have now picked the pretty lock.

You can't just pick one. It has to want to open. So constantly switch from talking softly to loud hysterical screaming with generous profanity. Locks are like cats. If it wants to open it will come to you.
