because the product operates on AA batteries, the batteries will require constant replacement, to maintain working order. Because it requires a wifi antenna, it will periodically trigger the wifi switch (which will drain the battery) and you'll be replacing batteries more often.
I strongly suggest that you maintain the mechanical key component, because that will prevent a locked out situation turning into destructive entry.
If it is pick/bump resistance concerning you, consider a more pick resistant or bump resistant cylinder like Abloy Protec or Bilock.
as is the nature of entrances, there is often weathering and door and frame movement to also take into consideration. If the door moves slightly or the bolt doesnt line up correctly, free enough movement of the bolt will not necessarily lock the bolt. The app may indicate the bolt is locked when in reality it is not.
I think it will be a phenomenal product, when it releases but you should definitely maintain a mechanical overide key for the reasons above.
