I love watching "How It's Made", but because of my schedule I can't follow it as I'd like.
I've also seen once (I think it was on the same show) how vaults are made. Dude, it was awesome. And they talk about a very important thing IMO:
- Vaults aren't made to be "unbreakable". They are made to sustain an attack for a pre-determined amount of time. For example: If a professional needs 12h to crack it, it's considered secure enough, since the bank won't be "alone" for 12h. And the burglars also need to pass other security measures, as cameras, detectors, alarms, etc.
What leads to "no system in 100% secure. the time and effort you need to crack it determine if it's worth to do it or not".
Go ahead, keep plugging away, picking on me! You will end up on bypass or with rigor mortise.
