Well, the combination of this...

Just like there are hackers for computers, there are also people called “lock hackers” that pick locks for the enjoyment and challenge, even though it is illegal. There are numerous ‘how to’ videos of lock hackers on popular video sharing sites like YouTube showcasing their talents.
...and...

Keep in mind, the Ultimate Lock has yet to be picked.
A link on their website suggests to me that you'll be seeing a bunch of videos of them being picked on YouTube. (Or this is some sort of devious marketing campaign to sell their locks to incensed locksport enthusiasts.)

Wait: actually, it looks like there already are videos of them being picked... :-)

Their over-inflated claims aside, it actually looks like a half-decent solution (if slightly ugly) to having someone kick in your door. Some long screws for the hinges and strike plate, and a reinforcing plate around a traditional deadbolt, would probably come pretty close to the same level of protection, though.

That's wierd, I didn't know locksport was illegal. F that company for spreading total misinformation.

Ha, I remember these guys. They said the lock was unpickable and invited a bunch of "locksmiths" to try and pick some. Of course they didn't mention that the only reason it was unpickable in that demonstration was because the snib was activated. Weasels.

I did get a laugh out of them advertising the snib as if it was some new special technology though. Woah., you press a button on the inside and it means nobody can get in from outside? EVEN if they have a copy of the key?! That's amazing... once I get a time machine I'm gonna take this idea back to 1850, change my name to Yale and live the good life.

I've actually played with a few of these. Decent quality for a residential deadbolt and actually much better than a lot you can find at the big box stores. Something sticks out in my mind telling me they were a PITA to install though but I can not remember what it was.

Our local Home Depot sold them for a short time.
