There's a lot of factors that go into it. Some of the feedback you receive has to do with the picks you are using. Also I practiced for a while on less restrictive key ways before I tried the Schlage C. The more practice you have before hand the better. I got used to normal 5 or 6 pin locks some with spools before hand. My first Schlage C was a practice lock from MR. Wizard. It helped tremendously to be able to start with less pin stacks and get used to the restricted key way little by little. I can tell you that this method does work. I just tried it again successfully with 6 pins; 3 spools, 2 serrated, and 1 standard pin. I used top of the key way tension, a normal short hook, and a few picks from the Sparrows Monstrum set. Not saying it cant be done without these things, just letting you know what I used.
