Alright gents, finally got the thing mounted! By the way, I got this mount from mbausa.com for around $18 (for the version with the screws included). I thought it was made out of metal, but it turns out the body is made completely from plastic, slightly disappointing as it seems a little unstable to me - in terms of the weight distribution. Either way, pics as promised.

In case anyone else is going to mount one let me give you this little piece of advice (as it took me a while to figure it out). When mounting it, you'll need to put the spline key into the spindle, and you'll have 4 possible places to put it named RH, LH, VU, and VD.

RH = "Right Hand"
LH = "Left Hand"
VU = V (?) "Up"
VD = Venerea....wait I mean "Down"
Basically if the bolt is to the RIGHT of the spindle/cam then you put it on RH. My problem was I wasn't sure from which perspective this was. So it is from the BACK of the lock. Basically from the point of view of the installer (on the back of the safe door) NOT from the point of view of the safe front.
When I get my see through plastic bit from McMaster Carr I'll make a thread with step by step cutaway making. I use the term "cut-away" loosely, as I don't think there'll be much to actually cut!
