

Who makes these? So far I have found a Mul-T-Lock model and an Abloy model.
Also, some deadbolts have a rod through them such that if you tried to hacksaw through the bolt, you'd eventually hit the rod, which would just roll as you tried to saw it. Is it impossible to have both features in one deadbolt (does the mechanism that deploys the ball bearings take up the space where this rod would go)?
I assume fitting these is somewhat tricky? Because the bolt and strike must be a snug fit and well aligned, if a door/jamb shrinks or expands in extreme weather, it could cause problems.
