ohhh that model.. I have those.. they have a small keyway and I do believe there is a security pin amongst the 4 pins.. For fun, cut off the black plastic and you'll see how they saved money on making the padlock body....
A good way to learn is to buy a Kwikset (just not the Smartkey model), Defiant, Brinks, or Schlage deadbolt for $12-$40 at Home Depot, Lowes, or Walmart, and remove the pins and pin up 1 pin stack, get good at picking it, add another stack of pins, and so on until you have a fully pinned 5 pin cylinder that you can pick consistently, then you can change the key cut hi-low positions for added difficulty and it's almost like picking a whole new lock. Mr. Wizard, a member here, makes and sells a cylinder that comes with bags of different pins, and is easy to pin up, and repin to keep yourself busy for months with raking and single pin picking.
Get a double deadbolt (keyed on both sides), so you can have one that's always ready to pick, and the other one to take apart and learn all the pieces and pin it up progressively.
Padlocks are fun, and probably my favorite lock format, but not always easy to take apart to see what's happening inside.
