I was in wal-mart and happened by the "marked down" aisle. I noticed they had a brinks solid brass door key compatible lock that was $15.00 marked down to five. http://www.lockcity.com/brinks/doorKey.asp
It has a removable cylinder with 5 pins but drilled to 6 pins. It also came with a packet of pins so that the user can repin it to their house key.
The cylinder isn't all that great. It was easily picked even though the machinery on the cylinder was very sloppy. My question is, I recently bought 2 Best 6 pin cylinders, and i'm wonderin if I could use those cores on the brinks padlock body. I'm not sure about the specification of compatibility with Best and Brinks products.
Thanks guys.
