You have taken a blast-resistant lock and made it into a work of art.

I really cant tell you all how much a appreciate the positive feedback thank you.

When i polished this lock a year ago i kept thinking to myself "this is gonna be cool" but i never wanted to show it to anyone because i always thought people would say things like, what a waste of a collector's item, or its supposed to be a military padlock but your not hiding that thing from anyone, etc. But when i saw Gordon's post about "lock picking to much on your mind" i thought why not share it.

I think as long as you don't modify it too much, it's okay. Now if you were to start bedazzling locks, we might have an issue. :D

When I was a kid I polished the brass padlock that locked the basement door. It was the most shining padlock I've ever seen... until now!

Cheers :)

Looks amazing! Your hand polished lock looks leaps and bounds better than that polished brass/chrome stuff that comes out of factories.

Does anyone know what the base metal is in that lock?

The hi shear is made of some kind of stainless alloy that they haven't told anybody what it is exactly.
