I have an old Yale padlock, that was sent to me, and I wonder if anyone has official depth and space information for this lock. It appears to start at 200 with a spacing of .165 (which is standard for the Y1/999 keyways) but when I made a key, the values didn't seem to fit with any of the standard schemes. It seemed closest to the Yale large pin format. Also, they suggest using a 100 degree cutter with a 45 thou root to cut the key - does this seem right? Could it be that the pins are a bit worn, screwing up my values a bit?
My key was cut to 238,301,277,320,320 and works without issue.
