I hold my.Bogotas like someone holding dowsing rods or like a drummer holding drum sticks over a snare drum, then I do the too much coffee jiggle and locks fall open before me. The clones that use the Bogota humps but a regular style handle just dont seem to work as well.
Consider this when purchasing your "Bogotas"

That's a great point. For me it depends on how the lock can be held. If I am picking the lock in my hand or if I have it in a vise I like to hold the lock at about a 45 degree angle. In this setup I prefer the standard straight handle that most picks have. But if the lock is mounted in a door where it is a 90 degree angle as opposed to a 45 then I prefer Raimundo's original design. Since I pick locks as a hobby I almost never encounter one mounted on a door, and I'm nearly always able to hold the lock at my preferred 45 degree angle. For that reason all of my rakes (but one!) have the "popsicle stick" handle that I prefer. But if was concerned about opening locks mounted on a door I'd be packing Raimundo's handle instead.
