Cool vid thanks for that! I usually don't like Chinese made products as historically they have been mostly garbage. But these are cool! They are using clever design features to overcome their still poor manufacturing tolerances.

czesc stary!
Not a picking video, but if you listen to him explain the split cylinder, you could fabricate a custom tension wrench to reach deep inside the lock to then apply tension.
Hmm, I don’t think that this will work - tensioning should just block the reverse-springloaded sidebar in place.

Yes, it's there for that purpose, and also to stop someone from just turning the cam with such a tool. The outer long sidebar needs to move into the plug before the cam can be turned.
But it can't be forced into the plug by rotation (tensioning), only by its springs (it's a "reverse spring-loaded sidebar" type).
I just tried to search for our LockCon presentation online, it seems like Lucas shows some of my drawings in this presentation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWFyH3KaRJc , but maybe not the drawing of the Yuema 360?

I've been looking for the euro cylinder version as well. I haven't found a retailer from China that will ship internationally yet but I'm still continuing to look for one. I'll let you know if I find any.
A lot of “Taobao agents” are in business to help you shop cheap stuff at Taobao, Tmall, and so on, add a markup and handling fees, and then export it to your country. I used Yoybuy (easy handling, but they won’t ship locks with built-in batteries like certain bike locks), and another guy for the electronic locks.

Would it be a good idea to add false gates for the wafers and modify the action of the sidebar so that when it would be recessed to the false gates it could turn a little angle but it would block itself on a second shallow cut recess of the outer core as can be seen on this crude drawing:
