I stayed there! I think the foyer now has a small restaurant or in it. Can't quite recall the name.

I did an archeological dig and found some pictures. It was in 2002, so not a great picture with the camera I had back then...

The hotel was called "The Whitney" and was in an old building just outside the French Quarters, looking a little out-of-place when the rest of the block had been replaced by glass, steel and concrete...
