I know it might not be 100% accurate to the S&G level of standards, but I recently got the safe cracking tutorial kit from Sparrows.
I picked up the whole process quickly as I had done research and watched several videos before I even started saving up for it.
For those who are familiar with the training kit, the "final level" is a standard lever for a typical 3 wheel lock.
I have been able to find the combo 2/5 attempts (I have my wife change the combo for me and record it somewhere).
Below is one of my successful attempts.

However, this time, much like my other 2 failed attempts, I am getting spots where I just can't feel anything on either side. I went through and double-checked these blank spots 1 number at a time also.
On the 2 attempts where I didn't have any blank spots on my wheel map, I got the combo easy.
That being said, would someone be able to look at my map and answer some questions for me?
Mainly:
1. How come with certain combinations, the wheel is easy to read with no blank spots, and other times (like in the picture) there are massive gaps?
2. Could it be because one of the gates on another wheel is there?
3. With what I have mapped so far, it looks like there could be a gate at 7. However, it looks like a gate signature could also be right at where my map goes blank.
Thank you.
