I’m having a problem with my HPC Model B tubular pick and was wondering if you guys could help me out.Thing is I purchased a $7 tubular cam lock off of Amazon to mess around with, and despite trying for over 15 mins with varying amounts of tension on the feelers, I was unable to impression it with the tool.So just to see what was going on, I inserted the pick all the way in, withdrew it, and when I examined the feelers I noticed that many of them were being pushed deeper than the cuts on the key.So I took the collar off and probed each one of the feelers, and found that a couple of them were very loose(i.e. Could be slid up and down freely with no perceptible tension on them from the O-rings).So I tried swapping out the O-rings with ones I salvaged from an old broken tubular pick I had, yet that failed to rectify the issue, so I sent the tool back to HPC, and even though they claimed to have resolved the issue,(By tightening a set screw and cleaning it), when I received it back from them today, I found that those feelers were still loose, and again, was unable to impression the lock for the reason I specified earlier.
