I am looking at these kinds of locks
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Deadbolt-Deadl ... B00AZLXVA0
Inside, there is a spring which presses the locking mechanism up. If that spring pressure wasn't there, then the deadbolt would move easily. So I am wondering what kind of stainless steel the mechanism is made of. If it could be pulled against the pressure of the spring with a strong neodymium magnet?
I read there are many kinds of stainless steel and they are not all magnetic. Anyone have an idea about these kinds of locks? I guess I'm not the first person to think about this..so probably its not realistic.
Thanks.
