Made a Key. Keeps from dissembling all.
Am an Electric/Security Contractor, carry minimal Locksmithing tools, when I run into one, I usually take apart, align the sliders with the groove. Works good. Forget if I tried while apart to apply tension, push in binding pieces till it turns 90°, then Rekey.
You have to treat it like using a comb pick.
Do not apply tension until you bottom out the pins.
Push the pins all the way down THEN try to rotate the core.
If the core does not begin to rotate, release tension, push all the pins down evenly until they bottom out, then try to rotate again. It will pinch the teeth of the comb as it rotates. Pull the comb out and finish rotating the core to 90.
