I would want to try out lockpicking as a hobby and I watched a few videos on that toppic and I came up with that set for me:
Southord C810 + Multipick W04 and BOG03 for the picks
and a cheap Amazon-Set for a few tentioners + 4 transparent locks to see how different locks work.
What do you think? Is that a good setup?
My idea was to have a
- L-, S-, Bogota-, worm-rake for rocking and raking attacks
- half diamond for zipping attacks and maybe also dimple locks
- ball-rake for wafer locks
- medium- and deep-hook + def. diamond/ball for single pin picking
I am expecting that give me the most common tools to try and good quality tools.
Are the cheap tentioners form a chineese kit OK or should I better get other ones?
I am in europe - I found a lot of recommandations for easy locks in the USA like the Masterlock 03 and some others. I have never seen them here. What are good choices in Europe to start with and what would be a good gradually increasing set to begin with?
