Hi, Combos are most often forgotten, when there is nothing of value inside. Nobody bothers to set the combo to a default combo when all gold is removed from a safe. So if there is a safe with unknown combo and content, then it is most often empty. If it is not empty than it is most of the time some stuff without value. In very rare cases there is something of value inside, e.g. a pack of silver dollars.

According to the serial the safe should be from 1943.
