take a look at threads about so-called "computer picks", I beleive they attempt to achieve what you are trying to get at. .. though I remain skeptical

you could try to find some shapes of several picks taht would cover most of the combinations of pin heights for a particular lock, but how you use them adds another variable, plus there are many different pin sizes/ configurations. It all seems kinda fuzzy to me, but give it a try

Looking at everyone else's responses, I think I may be misunderstanding the original question, but I'll offer my answer just in case...

It depends on how many depths are available for the wafers.

If each wafer has 4 possible depths then the formula is 4 to the power of 6 (I don't know how to do superscript).

With that, you should have 4,096 key combinations. No?

A microphone isn't going to help if you're making a computer generated type pick, because if it works, you'll know immediately... the lock will have become unlocked. A microphone would only really help with single pin picking, and even then, probably not that much.

i calculated from 6 pin's 123456 it ill be max comb 654321 in this combination enters 163580 dubles and 490741 posible key's
The microphone it whil be good in normal picking hafball.........

One of the factors that limits the total number of possible keys is called MACS, or maximum adjacent cut specification. Basically, you cant have too much difference between adjacent pins' shear depths. This limits the total number of shapes you can have for a given key. Computer picks expliot this weakness by mimmicking the profile of several keys. You insert the pick and jiggle it while "pulsing" the tension wrench as well. If it doesn't work after a given amount of time you try another one. Microphones won't work with this sort of picking. When an individual pins gives in standard picking, the tension wrench jerks a little, especially with decent spring steel. Learn to feel for it and you won't need extra equipment.

Why bother with a jigler based on key cuts, wafers are so easy to pick it would be a waste of time and metal...If I were you Ide scrap the idea and make a Diamond...
