newguy: When you picked the first lock, did the plug get stuck exactly at the 180 degree point? If so, put one of your pick in upsidedown and use it to lift the driver pins up and out of the keyway. Just raise the pick as high up in the keyway as you can, and use your torsion wrench to turn the plug. Same thing happened to me the first time I picked a deadbolt. I thought for sure I'd screwed up the lock.
As for the second lock, if I understand correctly this is a key in knob type lock with a depressable button that locks the lock? If so, when you pick the lock and the plug starts to turn, does the button pop out? If it does, the lock is now unlocked. If not, I suspect you picked the lock in the wrong direction. Try picking the other way.
Hope this helps! Happy picking!
