Got some bristles at the beginning of the week, and thought I'd throw my fisrt 4 attempts into the forum for some feedback. The handles, if anyone is interested, are two layers of heatshrink from a local modelling shop. I've put a SouthOrd pick in the picture for scale
I've put them in order of manufacture, the pick at the bottom was my first, and the rake I made last night. The half diamond is a bit flexible, but only enough to straighten out (it actually curves toward the diamond).
Incidentally, while making these I got to wondering has anyone tried making picks with a curve in, to help getting around the wards in pin tumbler locks. Seen end on they would look something like this ) and (. I suppose it would mean double the number of picks but I thought they could make life easier. Any thoughts?
