i have a south ord standard set and a slim line set, i tried picking padlocks with both and managed to get the padlocks with the standard set as well as the slim lines, but when it came to picking euro locks it was near impossible with the standards, but i got it with the slimlines.
i suppose the moral of the story is that slim lines are a great help in picking euro locks, they can be used on any lock at all, i find they give better feedback as well, but that could just be me going mad
i havent looked at prices on websites for shipping etc, but if you felt like it, you could buy a standard and a slimline hook and 1/2 diamond to see the sizes and get an idea of what you like. if you want an idea of size, look in the thread about raimundos picks (i think) and theres a picture somewhere of loads of different makes of tool side by side, including normal and slim line south ords.
