I just had a look at a exploded picture of the new Chubb M3 Rim Cylinder.
It has angled cuts on the pins, which have to rotate the correct way to allow the side bar to slide across to allow the key to turn, as well as the normal pins/shear line.
Im just starting out as a lockie doing bits and pieces here and there, while i save up for all the equiptment i need.
I can see this lock being a pain to pick. how would you go about picking it?
Would you first rotate the pins so the side bar wants to move across, then pick the pins as normal?
or is there a different method picking? (as there seems to be an extra 3 pins at the front (to stop drilling i think), and one large one at the back...possibley for the same reason.
Any pointers or help would be great, as i don't want to go to a job with one of these and be stuck!.
below is a picture of it.
