I am perplexed with my latest experience with lockpikshop.com

Order 83112 date 28 June 2010

I still have not received the package to my Miami address and have sent 4 emails to them.

They have not answered one of my emails.

I have shopped with them previously with great success but I warn anyone about shopping
online with this company at the moment.

I was about to order a set but am now reluctant to do so :/

I can't help but notice a lot of these reviews are a little dated now- can anyone confirm a recent purchase and that the site is in fact still up and running?

British_Steel - I have ordered from Lockpickshop.com on three different occasions.

Most recently, I received my order within 2 days using the most basic shipping options that includes tracking (required for Paypal orders).

I couldn't be happier with the speed of shipping and the quality of the goods when they arrived (well packed, everything as expected).

You're not seeing reviews because, to a certain extent, it's a given that Lockpickshop.com provides great service and the products arrive as advertised.

I'm pretty new to lockpicking, but I ordered some assorted picks and tension wrenches from them this summer. The items came very quickly and were in perfect condition. I'll definitely be ordering from them again if I need any new picks or replacements!

I inquired about a tool from HPC and they very promptly returned my email and stated that they were not currently a HPC distributor. Although I did not purchase anything they were friendly and responded quickly.

This seems to be a thread worthy of keeping alive:)

I placed an order on Tuesday. Only about two hours later I recieved an email with tracking number. I paid $25 for express-shipping to Norway. I haven't gotten the package yet, but LPS did their part right. They shipped it quickly and using EMS express mail.

They seem to have sent the package by rowboat, it has now spent three days between the US and Norway, but I will post an update on package condition and customs declaration as soon as it arrives.

I just ordered from them a month ago. Good service and good selection. I'm mostly a southord guy, but locksmith shop has stuff I have not seen elsewhere.

I ordered a PXS-14 on 3-31-2013 and received it on 4-6-2013, sent to a lockpick unfriendly mid-Atlantic state. Shipped UPS to USPS to home.

Two e-mails. One to confirm the order, one to notify shipping.

Good service, no complaints at all.

Unfortunately for me, I didn't find the 10% off code until AFTER I ordered it. :(

The Search button may be found on your left, that's how I found the code.

I ordered a pick set on August 7 (16 days ago). Their site said “available for immediate delivery” at the time. They emailed telling me they’d “notify [me]…by email when it ships.” I never received that email. After six days, I asked for a status update via email and voice mail. I was ignored. I called again days later. I was ignored. Still no word from them 16 days after purchase. On top of that, I used a coupon code, which took a few bucks off. But when I checked my credit card statement, I had been charged full price—very deceptive.

In summary, this is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve experienced in a long, long time. I just did a chargeback with my credit card company. This store is a joke.

Oh, and my Order # was 141994, in case some employee from lockpickshop.com wants to verify the facts above.
